That is a very solid platform. Only thing I would change is throw an air shock on the back. save a couple lbs.

Its not a horrible weight at 35lbs.... but your suggestion isn't a bad one... wonder how much i could save running a DHX air

Does it ride true to size?  when i look at the sizing chart for the scratch vs my fuel ex the sizing is way off.  Example a fuel ex 19.5 is similar in frame sizing to the 21.5 on the scratch

if you were looking to climb with it you would definately ride the 21 if not a 19 would suit you... I am an odd one to ask B/C i am short as shit. so i always ride small frames
